CSCI offers the 529 Virginia College Savings Plan to its employees. There are three tax-advantage Section 529 college savings options. The Virginia College Savings Plan, an independent state agency to help families save for college, administers the three choices. The state’s Section 529 choices are the Virginia Prepaid Education Program (VPEP), the Virginia Education Savings Trust (VEST), and College America. Employees qualify for reduced VPEP and VEST application fees ($60) with a payroll deduction or ACH payment plan.
