Our team is built of DOERS:
Since its inception, CSCI has employed System Engineers and System Analysts to perform a wide range of tasks for our customers leading to important operational and acquisition decisions. CSCI employs the SE&A Subject Matter Experts with various levels of security clearance and access, capable of working each phase of every project simultaneously, resulting in the continuous ability to serve as a Trusted Partner and Honest Broker. The company also employs one of the most technically competent and proficient support staffs in the industry to ensure the SMEs are postured to always meet the customer’s needs.
Each CSCI SME possesses the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform a myriad of tasks. They are well versed in preparing Operational Concept Plans, developing Integrated Architecture views, and developing Acquisition Roadmaps based on current data that can contribute to making key acquisition decisions.
The Operational Concept Plans lay the groundwork and establish initial parameters by allowing customers to articulate requirements that can form the basis for follow-on operational analysis.
When developing System Architecture views, SMEs approach each project from the operational, engineering and technical perspective to ensure all aspects of the project are addressed. This allows the SME to identify customer requirements, system capabilities, and start to formulate recommendations for possible solutions.
CSCI SMEs also develop Acquisition Roadmapping plans from the operational, engineering and technical views and work these plans in concert with all phases of system analysis. Additionally, the integration of Acquisition Roadmapping, architecture, analysis and reduction and analysis of resulting data ensures the complete coordination of all milestone/event planning leading to the best possible recommendation of solutions to the customers’ problems.
When SE&A SMEs identify requirements for roadmapping, analysis or data management, protection and distribution, they work cross-functionally with our network engineers and software developers to create a more cost effective and efficient processes to support the clients. This understanding of customer requirements has contributed to the creation the Capabilities Management Tool™ (CMT™) for roadmapping, the Data Analysis and Visualization Environment™ (DaVE™) for architecture analysis, the Financial Database™ (FDB™) for customer budget development and management and the Trusted Information Infrastructure™ (TII™) to manage, protect and distribute data in a multi-level security environment.
CSCI has also created a range of business management tools like AsPIRE™ for human resources related tasks and CONTRAX™ for contract creation and management that provide a solid business foundation for the relationship between CSCI and our government customers. These tools are suited for, and could be available to, other companies working in the government environment.

Using TII, our flagship product, a proven secure baseline platform CSCI has been able to provide our business partners with an impartial evaluation of their products as an independent solution and part of an integrated environment. The CSCI next generation (Next Gen) TII (The Cardinal Suite) roadmap allows business partners to prototype their products within the Collaborative Development Lab (CDL) to achieve a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment. CSCI is changing the fundamental building block for Distributed Management Identity and Access System to provide an agnostic way for the underlying data store fully encrypted at the database and the object levels to provide multiple levels of integrity.
In order to architect next generation integration, CSCI has the Technology Solutions Group (TSG) of elite and highly skilled hybrid engineers whose focus is to achieve a Federated SOA of integrated mature COTS products. The traditional mindset is to separate the various disciplines within the IT industry; however, CSCI believes that Next Gen TII requires the integrated disciplines to:
The TSG maintains certifications to support both the Operational Deployment of TII as well as The Cardinal Suite integration: Certifications include:
Supporting CSCI's technology is a Architecture Process Team whose mission is to implement processes and technology in gathering, analyzing, resolving conflicting requirements and recording requirements in artifacts, such as vision, use case model and supplementary specifications, to enforce strict Configuration Control policies, to test all products at the appropriate level, based on the product’s risk level, and to produce a cohesive and award-winning family of CSCI technical documentation.
