CSCI’s Information Assurance (IA) Team provides classified and unclassified Certification and Accreditation (C&A) consulting and support for government clients and corporate systems. The IA Team provides expertise on technological safeguards and managerial procedures to assure the accountability, availability, integrity, and confidentiality of computer resources. The team has over 60 years of experience working with secure systems, security, and information technologies. Their knowledge of government regulations in conducting information assurance and C&A includes the DCID 6/3, JAFAN 6/3, NISPOM, NISPOMSUP, NISPOMSUP Overprint, DoD 8500.1 & 2, DoD 8510.1-M, DoD 5200.40 (DITSCAP), NIST SP 800-37, and the National Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (NIACAP). The IA team has proven experience composing System Security Authorization Agreements (SSAA) and System Security Plans for systems operating at Protection Level 1 through Protection Level 4 (Dedicated, System High, Compartmented, and Multilevel) security modes.
