MILCOM is an annual international technology conference specializing in military communications, held this year, November 17-19, at the San Diego Convention Center.

The Epee is the first of four planned product releases in the Guard Series. The innovative platform utilizes the patent-pending Secure Cloud Network technology allowing switches within the fabric to act and be managed as a single virtual switch from a single interface. Merging the Epee with existing infrastructure enables multiple information pathways, maintaining sub-second failover in case of a cable or switch hardware failure. The Epee supports Layer 2-4 switching, active/active links, 100% wire speed, and the expandable network appliance fits in a 1U 19” standard computer rack. CSCI’s next generation Guard Series release will be in March 2009.
