Cardinal ID™

Cardinal ID™, formerly known as Special Access Required Management Information System™ (SARMIS™), is a web–based solution for the management of access privileges, briefings, and security–related information. Through an intuitive user interface, security professionals can effectively and efficiently collaborate to manage personnel, clearance information, and access to special programs.
Cardinal ID allows users to easily determine the access permissions and privileges of users within Special Programs, Program Groups, and Studies. The process of managing that access is completely electronic, allowing users to manage Visit Requests, Program Access Requests (PARs), and Program Indoctrination Agreements (PIAs). By relating all data from Personnel, Programs, Facilities, and Agencies, a comprehensive view of security access is readily available. Security Officers are able to have all their actions immediately reflected in the data, with the data–driven access control model driving who may see what, as security managers assign and revoke accesses and privileges across the business unit, across the WAN, or across the world.
