DaVE™
Data Analysis Visualization Environment™ (DaVE™) is an interactive, three-dimensional simulated environment within which data is visualized, analyzed, and packaged for presentation. Data from varied and even disparate sources can be combined, modeled, and represented in a single coherent environment. Facilitating this capability, CSCI provides data transformation services allowing externally produced, third-party data to be seamlessly agglomerated into this environment. A byproduct of this capability is the ability to quickly integrate new data sets, visualization concepts, analytical capabilities, and experimental models into a continually evolving simulated world.
Key Capabilities
- The environment integrates time-driven entity representations, such as vehicles, missiles, or anything else that navigates in a real-world environment. Furthermore, the capability allows battle-space planning and sandboxing through force-level lay-downs and route planning. Complex static and dynamically variant visual geometries representing fields of regard, antenna patterns, error ellipsoids, and aspect-dependent three-dimensional radar cross-section are fully supported. All dynamic models are controllable using simulated and real-time playback.
- The environment provides a solid framework for modeling and visually representing arbitrarily complex communications networks. Currently integrated network components include radar systems and skeleton support for tracking systems. This framework is highly extensible, allowing for the rapid development and deployment of additional network models. The time required to go from concept to operable and analyzable capability is on the order of hours or days—offering tremendous agility difficult to match with similar tools.
