CSCI to partner with the Washington Capitals “Salute to Military Night” in 2003
Springfield, VA—November 12, 2003—Computer Systems Center Incorporated (CSCI), a unique and solidly established small technology company that excels in solving complex problems for the private and public sectors, today announced a partnership with the Washington Capitals 3rd Annual Salute to Military Night.
“CSCI is proud to partner with the Washington Capitals in ‘03,” said Chief Executive Officer, Linda LaRoche. “We feel it is important to align ourselves with an organization that supports the U.S. Military in every aspect.”
The Capitals along with 11 other partners and Operation Tribute to Freedom (OTF) will provide more than 6,000 free tickets to U.S. service members. CSCI donated its season tickets to Operation Atlas, a community outreach program initiated by Red Cross volunteers to support soldiers injured from active duty in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other theaters at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. The tickets were then distributed among soldiers able to attend the games. The Capitals face off against the mighty Carolina Hurricanes at 7pm.
“We are very excited to have added CSCI to our team,” said Capitals VP of Sales, Kevin Morgan. “Without the support of partners like them, the Washington Capitals could not be the success they are today.”

In 29 previous seasons, Washington has made 18 playoff appearances, including a postseason berth in all but three of the last 21 seasons.
