CSCI is a Woman-Owned Small Business seeking an intricately motivated junior-level Personnel Security Support Specialist that will provide “day-to-day” multi-discipline support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.

The junior-level Personnel Security Support Specialist will assist the government customer with the personnel security program, including administration, monitoring, and management of metrics for the Personnel Access Request (PAR) Process, maintaining JADE databases and all required personnel documentation, such as access rosters and personnel security files.

The candidate must have a current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility, eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information. The candidate must be able to work onsite in Springfield, VA.

The minimum requirement for this position is two (2) years of professional security experience in the Department of Defense (DoD) environment. If your resume does not meet these requirements, please do not submit it because your candidacy with not be accepted. 

Responsibilities

The candidate’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain all personnel security records and ensure records are current and in­ accordance with applicable personnel security requirements.
  • Ensure PSQs are updated annually for all personnel under the cognizance of the Senior Program Security Officer.
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates of personnel briefings and debriefing records in JADS and JADE.
  • Conduct annual personnel security reviews, including JADS and JADE database reviews, and prepare and execute corrective action plans as required.
  • Assist with maintenance and updates semi-annually, a Personnel Security Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Manual.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Special Access Programs.
  • Knowledge of JADS or JADS database. 
  • Available to work before/after typical office hours as work may demand.
  • Impeccable customer service skills.
  • Expert experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe tools and systems, including Excel, Project, Teams, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • The employee must maintain clearance and eligibility throughout employment.
  • Must meet client suitability

Degree:

A high school diploma. BA or BS in a security or business related field preferred.

Applicants are required to have, at a minimum, a TOP SECRET (TS) clearances with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years.
