CSCI seeking a Lead Program Security Representative to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client.  The highly-motivated candidate will be providing leadership and guidance through knowledge, experience, and their ability to effectively lead a team. CSCI is a Woman-Owned Small Business seeking a qualified, intricately motivated individual with security knowledge and experience.

This position is on-site, Monday-Friday.

The minimum requirement for this position is to have a minimum of 10 years of professional security experience in the Department of Defense (DoD) environments. If your resume does not meet these requirements, please do not submit it because your candidacy with not be accepted.


The Program Security Representative’s (PSR) primary responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Provide multi-discipline security support for one or more of the client’s SAP Programs, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and collateral programs.
  • Provide daily multi-discipline analysis for SAP, SCI, and collateral activities.
  • Provide day-to-day security support to include but not limited to classification determination, personnel security requests, physical security, and information security, including providing in-person command security training.
  • Assist in developing and executing approved policies and procedures for safeguarding Special Access.
  • Ensure strict adherence to the provisions of the NISPOM, its Supplement, the DoD Overprint, DCID, and ICD.
  • Assist in developing and executing approved policies and procedures for safeguarding SAP, SCI, and collateral data supporting US military operations.
  • Provide daily security support that includes continuous assessment of procedures to identify shortfalls and provide appropriate recommendations for revising and improving security policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Conduct and document SAP facility compliance reviews, follow-on facility reviews, and facility close-outs.
  • Identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to test, training, and operational activities.
  • Conduct exploration of any loss, compromise, or suspected compromise of classified and sensitive information, including conducting preliminary inquiries and generating damage assessments resulting from the loss of classified information.
  • Review, edit, and analyze security policy to provide recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Develop recommendations to implement adequate security measures based on threat assessments from intelligence reports, investigations, and personnel contacts.

Skills - Minimum of 10 Years Experience

Required Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • AA/AS or equivalent experience in a security or business related field required. BA or BS in a security or business related field preferred.
  • Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility and Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
  • 8-10 years of related experience required in the DoD environments. 
  • 6 years experience with SAPs within the DoD.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be willing to actively communicate with co-workers, program leadership, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations.

Experience Levels:

LEVEL 1 – requires a minimum of 3 years related experience
LEVEL 2 – requires a minimum of 5 years related experience.
LEVEL 3 – requires a minimum of 8 years related experience.
LEVEL 4 – requires a minimum of 10 years related experience.


Basic Information Security, Department of Defense Personnel Security Adjudicator Course, Marking Classified Information, Derivative Classification Course, and Personnel Security for Customized Adjudication.
