The candidate must know Government regulations, directives, instructions, manuals, and laws for Information Security, Personnel Security, Physical Security, and Information Assurance. In addition, the candidate requires necessary security experience and knowledge of the applicable Government regulations, directives, instructions, manuals, and laws for compartmented environments, OPSEC and COMSEC. 

The minimum requirement for this position is to have a minimum of two (2) years of professional security experience in the Department of Defense (DoD) environments. If your resume does not meet these requirements, please do not submit it because your candidacy with not be accepted.

Responsibilities

The candidate’s responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Work with the CPSO to ensure proper execution of the physical security plan. Work quickly to understand the roles and missions of the composite customer base equities and the individual team members within those equities. 
  • Assist with executing the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Operational Security (OPSEC) plan, maintaining personnel files, and tracking annual security training.
  • Ensure all required documentation is on file, in conformance with current policy and directive. While providing day-to-day security support for the customer, maintain a “ready for inspection” environment. 
  • Anticipate requirements and lead with recommended solutions.
  • Set standards and demonstrate a positive attitude daily.
  • Understand the Corporate philosophy of being an Honest Broker and Trusted Partner. 
  • Be responsive to changing priorities and situations.

Skills

Experience:

The minimum requirement for this position is to have a minimum of two (2) years of professional security experience in the Department of Defense (DoD) environments. 

Degree:

AA/AS or equivalent experience in a security or business related field required. BA or BS in a security or business related field preferred.

Training/Certifications:

Basic Information Security, Department of Defense Personnel Security Adjudicator Course, Marking Classified Information, Derivative Classification Course, Clearance in Industrial Security, and Personnel Security for Customized Adjudication.
