The candidate must know Government regulations, directives, instructions, manuals, and laws for Information Security, Personnel Security, Physical Security, and Information Assurance. In addition, the candidate requires necessary security experience and knowledge of the applicable Government regulations, directives, instructions, manuals, and laws for compartmented environments, OPSEC and COMSEC. Finally, the candidate requires expertise and knowledge of Security Education and Training requirements to include public speaking/briefing skills; involves an understanding of the contracting process and DD 254s.

The minimum requirement for this position is to have a minimum of five (5) years of professional security experience in the Department of Defense (DoD) environments. If your resume does not meet these requirements, please do not submit it because your candidacy with not be accepted.

Responsibilities

The candidate’s responsibilities include but not limited to;

  • Under the leadership of the Senior Security Administrator, be a Subject Matter Expert on security structure, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide Personnel Security Support to the customer by generating, maintaining, and tracking all personnel security-related documents.
  • Manage the JADE database for the customer.
  • Ensure all required documentation is on file, in conformance with current policy and directive. While providing day-to-day security support for the customer, maintain a “ready for inspection” environment. 
  • Anticipate requirements and lead with recommended solutions.
  • Understand the roles and tasks of the customers and associated team members. 
  • Set standards and demonstrate a positive attitude daily.
  • Understand the Corporate philosophy of being an Honest Broker and Trusted Partner. 
  • Be responsive to changing priorities and situations.
  • Sound verbal and written communications skills.
  • Requires office, administrative and organizational skills; and requires intermediate computer skills and experience with Windows OS, Microsoft Office Products, and Adobe Reader.

Skills - Minimum of 5 Years Experience

Experience:

The minimum requirement for this position is to have a minimum of five (5) years of professional security experience in the Department of Defense (DoD) environments. 

Degree:

AA/AS or equivalent experience in a security or business related field required. BA or BS in a security or business related field preferred.

Training/Certifications:

Basic Information Security, Department of Defense Personnel Security Adjudicator Course, Marking Classified Information, Derivative Classification Course, and Personnel Security for Customized Adjudication.

Applicants are required to have, at a minimum, a TOP SECRET (TS) clearances with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years.
