The experienced Security professional will work with a dynamic team and a forward-thinking, engaging customer. The candidate will review and manage all facility documentation for many government, contractor, and military facilities. The candidate is expected to provide mentorship and updated guidance about Physical Security to participating Task Security Officers, Contract Program Security Officers, and Government Special Security Officers. The candidate should anticipate requirements and lead with recommended solutions.

The minimum requirement for this position is five (5) years of professional security experience in the Department of Defense (DoD) environment. If your resume does not meet these requirements, please do not submit it because your candidacy with not be accepted.

Responsibilities

The candidate’s responsibilities include but not limited to;

  • Provide oversight and management of the Physical Security and applicable facility documentation for various contractors, government, and contractor facilities involved with the program.
  • Perform day-to-day activities to ensure the timely and accurate development/integration of Special Program requirements.
  • Receive, control, and safeguard SCI, SAP, and collateral information.
  • Prepare and deliver briefings to internal and external customers.
  • Provide mentorship and update guidance of Physical Security to participating Task Security Officers, Contract Program Security Officers, and Government Special Security Officers.
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert on security structure, policies, and procedures for assigned tasks.
  • Ensure all required documentation is on file per current policy and directive.
  • Anticipate requirements and lead with recommended solutions.
  • Understand the roles and missions of the customer and the individual team members.
  • Set standards and demonstrate a positive attitude daily.
  • Understand the Corporate philosophy of being an Honest Broker and Trusted Partner.
  • Sound verbal and written communication skills.
  • Requires office, administrative and organizational skills; and requires intermediate computer skills and experience with Windows O.S., Microsoft Office Products, and Adobe Reader.

Skills - Minimum of 5 Years Experience

Experience:
The minimum requirement for this position is five (5) years of professional security experience in the Department of Defense (DoD) environment.

Degree:
AA/AS or equivalent experience in a security or business-related field is required. B.A. or B.S. in a security or business-related field preferred.

Training/Certifications:
Basic Information Security, Department of Defense Personnel Security Adjudicator Course, Marking Classified Information, Derivative Classification Course, and Personnel Security for Customized Adjudication.

Requirements - US Citizen / Top Secret/SCI Clearance

Travel:

Local and Long Distant Travel approximately 5-8 times a year.

Minimum Clearance:

Applicants are required to have, at a minimum, a TOP SECRET (TS) clearances with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years.
