Ms. Amanda Lemmon has served as a Senior Security Manager at CSCI since 2013 and has been with the company for more than seven years. Ms. Lemmon leads a team of security professionals supporting multiple service-led projects providing oversight and continuity for all programs. The team supports military, government, and contractor locations with responsibility for training, briefings, standardization, compliance inspections, operating procedures, program life cycle support, and implementation of directives issued by the Department of Defense. Ms. Lemmon ensures that continuity is being met for the contract and that all aspects of security properly function with strict attention to the latest policies and standards.
In addition to her security management role, Ms. Lemmon contributes to CSCI’s business development initiatives by sharing her broad knowledge and experience with the defense security community to build relationships that help government customers and partners achieve their missions. She also brings her expertise to a working group responsible for updating and disseminating new policies in accordance with new government directives.
Ms. Lemmon has nearly 20 years of experience in the government and private sector in security support, management, and oversight, specializing in multiple security layers. She has worked in over five large Program Management Offices consisting of military, civilian, and contractor personnel and provided leadership to different security teams across the country. Ms. Lemmon previously served as the Director of Security for a small defense contractor, where she was named employee of the year, and a Program Manager concentrating on security-related contracts. During this capability, Ms. Lemmon managed several contracts in excess of a million dollars, providing management oversight to over 12 employees located in the DC Metro Area, California, and Texas. She has a vast understanding of new business development and understands the needs of a company and its employees.
Ms. Lemmon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Western Carolina University, where she graduated magna cum laude.
