Helmet-Mounted Radio Direction Finding

WatchCap is a helmet-mounted radio direction finding (RDF) system designed for distributed operations. It is integrated directly into a helmet cover, allowing operators to use RDF capability without modifying their existing equipment or adding visible components.

The system is designed to operate as part of a broader network or as a standalone capability at the individual level.

Operational Use

WatchCap provides signal detection and directional line-of-bearing (LOB) data at the operator level. Command and control is handled through an Android-based application, with display options on a phone or tablet.

System control can also be extended to a broader network by connecting directly to tactical systems via USB or TCP/IP.
